2. Hosting

This website is hosted by Hostinger (HOSTINGER, UAB, Švitrigailos str. 34, LT-03230 Vilnius, Lithuania). The host processes data arising from your visit on our behalf, in particular server log files. The basis is our legitimate interest in providing the website securely and efficiently (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) together with a data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR.

3. Server log files

When the website is accessed, information transmitted by your browser is recorded automatically: browser type and version, operating system, referrer URL, host name of the accessing computer, time of the server request and the IP address. This data is not merged with other sources and is used for the technically correct presentation and optimisation of the website.

4. Contact form

If you send an enquiry through the contact form, the details you provide, including the contact data given there, are stored in order to process your enquiry and in case of follow-up questions. Processing is based on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) and on pre-contractual measures (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). You may withdraw your consent at any time. The data remains with me until you request deletion or the purpose no longer applies.

The plugin Contact Form 7 is used to send form messages. Your message is delivered by email to the address given above.

5. Reviews and feedback

You can leave a review through the feedback form. We store your name, your email address, the title and text of the review, the star rating, your IP address and the time of submission. Only the name, title, text, stars and date are published on this website – the email address and IP address are never shown. The IP address is used solely to limit duplicate entries and spam. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw it at any time: a short message to info@3d-brandmalerei.de is enough and the review will be deleted. The data is stored on this website and is not passed on to third parties.

6. Fonts

This website uses the typefaces Cormorant Garamond and Inter. The font files are stored and delivered locally from this website’s own server. No connection is made to Google servers.

7. Cookies and local storage

During normal browsing this website sets no cookies. No tracking, analytics or marketing services are used – in particular no Google Analytics or Google Tag Manager, no social media plug-ins and no advertising networks.

If you switch between light and dark mode in the header, your choice is stored under the key bm-theme in your browser’s local storage. That information stays on your device, is not transmitted to the server and serves only to keep your chosen appearance on your next visit. It is stored only if you actively use the switch. The legal basis is § 25(2)(2) TTDSG, as the storage is strictly necessary for this function you explicitly requested. You can clear local storage at any time in your browser settings.

When you submit the contact form, the Contact Form 7 plugin may set a technically necessary cookie used to match the message and to prevent abuse.

8. Scripts included by the hosting provider

A small JavaScript file (embed.js, about 4 KB) is loaded from cdn-reach.hostinger.com on the pages of this website. It belongs to the newsletter tool “Reach” of our hosting provider Hostinger and is included automatically by the WordPress installation.

As no newsletter form is currently used on this website, the script performs no function: it stores nothing on your device and transmits no data. When the file is requested, your IP address is transmitted to Hostinger’s server – as with any file requested over the internet. Hostinger is also the host of this website and is bound as a processor under Art. 28 GDPR.

9. Your rights

You have the right at any time to obtain information free of charge about your stored personal data, its origin and recipients and the purpose of processing, as well as a right to rectification, restriction of processing, erasure and data portability. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.

10. SSL/TLS encryption

For security reasons this site uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the browser address bar switching from “http://” to “https://”.
