Wood. Fire. Stories.
Handcrafted pyrography, one-of-a-kind 3D wood art and creative workshops in and around Stuttgart.
What pyrography means to me
Pyrography – when wood is given a story
Wood already carries a story of its own: every grain, every structure, every small irregularity makes it unique. Pyrography adds a new story on top of that.
With every burned line something appears that existed only in my head before. Fire does not destroy here – it creates. The heat leaves traces, and it is exactly those traces that turn the wood into an individual piece of art.
I also like to combine my pyrography with 3D elements and different materials. That gives the pictures extra depth and makes them feel even more alive.

Your idea. Your personal artwork.
Whether it is a personal gift, a picture, a club crest, a memory or a very particular idea – unusual projects are especially welcome.
Every piece is made by hand and developed around your ideas or a special occasion. Do you have something in mind? Tell me about it – it might become your own personal piece of wood.
About me
Hello, I’m Marjan.
I originally trained as an agricultural engineer – but creativity has been with me all my life.
About eleven years ago I discovered pyrography and was immediately fascinated. My father built my first burning tool out of a battery charger – with a bent wire as the tip. That is exactly what I started with.
Since January 2026 I have been working as a freelance artist. Alongside selling my pictures I offer workshops and courses in Stuttgart and the surrounding area.
